Ingredients
  

For the Marinade
  • 1 cup plain yogurt Greek yogurt preferred for thickness and tanginess.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Extra virgin if desired.
  • 1 juice lemon Add more for extra zest.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced 5 if you’re feeling adventurous.
  • 1 teaspoon salt Use sea salt for best flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper Optional if you prefer less spice.
  • 1 teaspoon cumin Adds warmth to the dish.
  • Optional: red pepper flakes For a spicy kick.
For the Chicken
  • 4 pieces chicken thighs, skinless and bone-in Bone-in is juicier.

Method
 

Marinating That Chicken
  1. In a bowl, combine yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper, and cumin.
  2. Add chicken, toss until fully coated, cover with cling film, and refrigerate.
Cooking the Chicken
  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and heat a skillet over medium-high heat with olive oil.
  2. Sear the marinated chicken thighs for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).

Notes
