  • 1 cup maple syrup Or to taste

Preparation
  1. Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Cooking
  1. Lightly grease the waffle iron with additional melted butter.
  2. Pour the recommended amount of batter onto the preheated waffle iron.
  3. Close the lid and cook until the waffles are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Repeat with remaining batter.
