Main ingredients
  • 200 g chocolate (milk or dark) Dairy milk chocolate is recommended for sweetness.
  • 100 g shredded coconut Can be omitted if coconut is disliked.
  • 150 g rice cereal Use cheaper brands for best results.
  • 1 pinch salt Balances the sweetness of the chocolate.
  • to taste mini chocolate eggs Regular chocolate eggs can be used instead.

Method
 

Melt the Chocolate
  1. Melt your chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring frequently.
Combine the Ingredients
  1. Once your chocolate is melted, stir in the shredded coconut and rice cereal gently, maintaining some crunch.
Assemble the Nests
  1. Grease a muffin tin and pack the mixture into the shape of nests using a spoon.
Chill and Decorate
  1. Place nests in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  2. Add mini chocolate eggs into each nest once firm.
