Vegetables
  • 2 cups broccoli florets Fresh or frozen.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Essential for flavor.
Dairy
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Sharp cheddar recommended.
Broth and Seasoning
  • 2 cups chicken broth Can be homemade or store-bought.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder Adds depth of flavor.
  • Salt and pepper To taste.
Cooking Oil

Method
 

Cook the Orzo
  1. Boil a large pot of water and throw in the orzo. Cook according to package instructions (usually around 8-10 minutes).
Sauté the Chicken and Broccoli
  1. In another pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and sprinkle with onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until it’s golden brown, about 6-7 minutes. Then toss in the broccoli.
Add Garlic and Broth
  1. Once the broccoli is bright green, add the minced garlic and let it cook for about 30 seconds. Then, pour in the chicken broth.
Combine Everything
  1. Stir in the cooked orzo and cheese, letting it melt into the dish.
Serve It Up
